Night Bridges
We hiked the edge of the Columbia river looking for a good spot to take pictures of the bridges. Finally ended up with a great view of the blue bridge and the cable bridge.

Farm Visit
A very short trip to Idaho, but I was just in time to see the corn chopping. Enough daylight to snap a few pictures of some of my favorite equipment.

I took most of these on our road trips in the northwest. In the last two weeks I enjoyed a trip to Boise, Seattle, and the mountains. Beautiful leaves everywhere!

Hike to Lake Basin, Wallowas
We walked uphill for a long time. Buckley was tired of having a backpack, but the view was worth it. We camped at Horseshoe lake and visited Craig and Lee lakes as well. Also a few great views of Eagle Cap, one of the more famous mountians in Oregon.

Detroit
Who said this wasn't a great city? I just got back and it was, well, everything you have heard. And it smelled really funny this time.
Only real photo activities were a short tour of the GM showroom on the floor of the Mariott.

County Fair (Kennewick Washington)
We ate the corn dogs, we visited the animals, we watched the rodeo, and we won stuffed lizards at the games. We spent a ton of money :)

Pike's Peak
Classic tourist stop in Colorado. I won't spoil the ending for you, but I will tell you that this is my favorite picture from the batch.
Denver
After whirlwind tours of Orlando and Portland I headed to Denver to catch (yet another) city. If you like skyscrapers check out the gallery.

Columbia River Gorge
We took the long way through the gorge on the historic highway. What a great drive past waterfalls, views, and lots of tourists.
Orlando
A few more photos from the Orlando area. Oddly enough, while I did see the Disney downtown shopping area, I never saw Disney world. Ironic. Or magical?

Kennedy Space Center
Visiting Orlando (obviously). Space center tour was fantastic. Space shuttle, rockets, big engines - what could be better?

Amsterdam
Well, Amsterdam Idaho anyway. Ryan and I took a photo shoot trip to the old grain elevator. Ryan was brave enough to go into the scary closed door. I took photos from a distance when I could tell it was safe.

Just finished registration with another website that allows photography purchases. The pricing scheme is a little different, but the quality of the other photographs seems to be a little higher.
Stop by and see my gallery.

Senior Photos
I don't often have a chance to take senior photos so this was a fun photo day. This batch included a real baseball player so some of the shots at the field were good.

The Butterflies
Visit to the woodland park zoo that included the butterfly house. The day was overcast and apparently that makes the butterflys more likely to cling to the flowers. Amazing.

Photos of Sydney
A little late, but I finally got all the photos from Seattle up. Most of these showcase the birthday party of Sydney, but we have a few duck photos as well from the trip to the country village. Just a fun family moment.
As a postscript, the photo on the right was a finalist in a photography contest recently.

North Cascades National Park
We took highway 20 through North Cascades National Park. We also drove up the Cascade River Road and camped with a view of Mt. Baker. On the way to the campsite we met a small black bear, which caused Buckley to growl.
Jim and Casie's Wedding
Labels:

Traveled to Mazama, which is near North Cascade National Park in Washington for the wedding. The setting was very nice, held in at the Freestone Inn and with the beautiful mountains in the background.

Maui Photos
Labels:

Recently had the opportunity to visit Maui. The underwater photographs are some of the best simply because the Sea Turtles were there.
We also drove around the island and took photos of waterfalls on the Hana side of the island. Other highlights included the spinner dolphins on a trip to Lanai and the drive up to the volcano.
