Last fall a backpacking trip to Goat Rocks. A few lovely views of Mt. Rainier from near and far.

A rainy trip to Canon beach that ended with a wonderful sunset. A cloudy view of the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse.

Birds of the Florida Bog

We had a few minutes before our plane left in Tampa so we toured a local bird refugee (Lettuce lake park). It was a bird filled bog.

NASA Space Center

We went to the Kennedy Space Center on our trip to Florida. It was fabulous. My favorite was the section on the Apollo missions.

Best of 2012 Collection

Oregon Zoo

My first visit to the Oregon Zoo was fabulous. The beaver might be my favorite, but the tiger with a wet paw is unique. :)

Mountains in Winter

Lucky mountain views in winter. Both Mt. Adams (at sunset) and Mt. Hood.

Lassen National Park

Our last national park stop in California was Lassen National Park. We didn't get to visit some parts due to snow closure, but it looks like a nice volcano.

Dreamers

In late October I took photos of a lovely group of kindergarten kids. Each dressed as what they wanted to be when they grew up.

Sequoia National Park

We had the amazing tree moments, which you would expect, but I was really impressed with the great views from the top of Moro rock.

Riley and Mary

This lovely wedding was held at the University of Washington Botanical gardens in August. I somehow forgot to blog it earlier, but I think the wedding was unforgettable!

Portland Japanese Garden

We stopped by the Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden a few times this summer. Spectacular weather this time!
