Methodist Church

Took a few pictures of the church while I was there. Amazing stain glass as always.

Well, Amsterdam Idaho anyway. Ryan and I took a photo shoot trip to the old grain elevator. Ryan was brave enough to go into the scary closed door. I took photos from a distance when I could tell it was safe.

More websites

Just finished registration with another website that allows photography purchases. The pricing scheme is a little different, but the quality of the other photographs seems to be a little higher.

Patches Theme

I took the patches theme with me in the last week or so. A few of these give the flavor of diversity out there.

Senior Photos

I don't often have a chance to take senior photos so this was a fun photo day. This batch included a real baseball player so some of the shots at the field were good.

The Butterflies

Visit to the woodland park zoo that included the butterfly house. The day was overcast and apparently that makes the butterflys more likely to cling to the flowers. Amazing.

Equipment - In case you were wondering

Like most photographers I have now moved to the digital realm. I primarily work with a Canon digital SLR, but some photos still need the Canon 35 mm.

  • Canon 40D
  • Canon Rebel XT (2)
  • Sigma and Canon telephoto lenses (100-300)
  • Canon 10-22 wide angle
  • Canon macro 100 mm
  • Canon 80 mm
  • Canon macro 50 mm
  • Canon 28-85 standard lenses
  • Assorted filters and hoods
  • Pistol grip Bogen tripod
  • Underwater camera case (useful when snorkeling)
  • Canon Powershot A520 (for a pocket photo now and then)
