Washington DC in Fall

A few years ago we drove up to Hurricane ridge for an afternoon in August. Lovely clear view of the Olympics.

Arlington Cemetery in Fall

Ring of Kerry

We toured the Ring of Kerry on a cloudy day, but you can see the beauty through the mist. Killarney National Park was a highlight.

San Francisco for a day

I took a very short trip to San Francisco, but I stayed near Fisherman's Warf so I snuck over to the National Maritime Park for a few hours.

Olympic Peninsula

In this trip to the Olympic Peninsula we focused on the beaches. The landscape is very unique with the sea stacks but we took in a waterfall as well.

Lassen National Park

Our last national park stop in California was Lassen National Park. We didn't get to visit some parts due to snow closure, but it looks like a nice volcano.

Sequoia National Park

We had the amazing tree moments, which you would expect, but I was really impressed with the great views from the top of Moro rock.

King Canyon National Park

A few from King's Canyon National Park, California. I think these captured the scenes a bit better than once we arrived at the valley floor.

Hetch Hetchy

We took the time to visit Hetch Hetchy, a beautiful section of Yosemite National Park. Well worth the side trip.

Yosemite National Park

A few days in Yosemite National Park, it was crowded even in May but well worth the visit.
