One of the highlights from our trip to Ireland was Skellig Michael. This amazing island was the site of one of the early Christian monasteries in the country formed with dry stone construction. Now a bird sanctuary the island is truly inspiring.

This castle was also a stop on our way across Ireland. It was fascinating although not as picturesque as some of the others. We enjoyed climbing into the towers and the creepy basement.
