We are still slowly exploring our new city. This garden is much bigger than the one in Seattle and I was amazed at how well designed.

Cape Disappointment

We finally made it to the Cape Disappointment lighthouse, after several disappointing attempts. The hike to the lighthouse was fun but the visitor center was far more interesting than we expected.

The old grist mill - Woodland WA

We had been planning a visit to the old grist mill since we moved to the Vancouver area and finally made it this fall. Apparently the mill is open on the weekends but we arrived on a Monday. We hiked upstream a bit and saw the fish and game experts checking the fish tags on the salmon headed upstream. 

Emma

Little Emma was only a few months old when we did her photo shoot. She appears to have loved every minute of it.

The Arboretum Wedding

Some amazing friends held their wedding at the Seattle arboretum, but what made the evening special was the party.

Washington State Capitol

We stopped by the state capitol in Olympia on one of our trips home from Seattle. I had never been to the building and the architecture is worth seeing.

Norman Rockwell Art to Life

I took this photo and it just reminds me so much of a Rockwell painting. Maybe missing the "Gone Fishing" sign. :)
