Olympic Peninsula

In this trip to the Olympic Peninsula we focused on the beaches. The landscape is very unique with the sea stacks but we took in a waterfall as well.

Magical Washington Forests

We enjoy hiking around in south-west Washington on the weekend. A few months back we enjoyed a particularly magical bit of lighting. If you look closely you might see the fairies. :)

The Toffee Tin

My friend just launched an awesome new company called the Toffee Tin. The toffee is amazing, very different than traditional toffee with a light buttery crunch but doesn't stick to your teeth. I took a few photos to showcase the tasty.

The dog's had a great day in the big snow!

Astoria's Shipwreck

The wreck of the Peter Iredale is a great feature of Fort Steven's State Park. We stopped by for a wonderful sunset.

While Brittany was in town we went to the new Castle Rock Lavender farm. The bees were as busy as themselves!

Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls in Fall

We stopped in the gorge on our way to Idaho this year. Short hike to a wonderful waterfall (Oneonta falls).
